Verified lists of companies that work with staffing agencies are useful, and the qualification they do is real. But a list is a stock — everyone with a subscription works the same records, and none of them say which account changed this morning.
Side by side
Compared on model rather than on record counts or price, both of which move and neither of which we would represent for someone else.
| Dimension | Verified lead database | StaffingLeads |
|---|---|---|
| Core model | A curated database of companies that use staffing agencies | A live feed of companies showing intent right now |
| What makes an account appear | It qualifies for the list | Something changed there today |
| Freshness | Refreshed on the provider’s schedule | Signals arrive as they happen |
| Your own history | Not visible to the provider | Past clients and placements ranked first |
| Contact discovery | Contacts supplied with the record | The decision-maker tied to the specific open role |
| Outreach | Export to your own tooling | Email and LinkedIn sequences built in |

The advantage a database cannot reproduce is the one you already own: which of these companies you have placed candidates at, quoted before, or spoken to last year. That history is yours, not the provider's.
Questions
It answers a genuinely useful question — which companies are willing to work with agencies at all — and that filter saves real time. The limitation is that it is a stock, not a flow. Everyone with a subscription is working the same records, and nothing in the record tells you that today is the day to call.
Timing and opening line. A database entry supports “do you use staffing agencies?”. A signal supports “I saw you posted three roles in the same team this week”. The second is a different conversation, and it is available to whoever notices first.
Yes, and it is a reasonable combination: the database as a qualification filter, signals to decide who to contact and when. Most firms of one to fifty recruiters eventually consolidate, because maintaining two sources means reconciling them by hand.
We deliberately do not compete on record count. A larger list is not a better one when the constraint is your attention: what matters is how few companies you have to look at before finding one worth calling today.
