HubSpot acquired Trigify in September 2026 and the standalone product shut down on 22 October. If you used it to find companies worth calling, this page covers what it did, what to do now, and the signals that actually predict a staffing deal.
What happened
From Trigify’s own shutdown notice.
23 September 2026
HubSpot acquires Trigify. The Trigify team joins HubSpot.
22 October 2026, 11:59pm BST
The standalone Trigify platform closes for standard customers (6:59pm US Eastern).
After the close
Accounts, data and workflows are not moved to HubSpot. Integrations and API access stop with the platform.

What Trigify did
Trigify watched LinkedIn and other social networks for buying signals: people engaging with your posts or a competitor’s, keyword mentions, job changes and funding news. It turned those into lists of people and sent them on to tools such as Clay, HubSpot and HeyReach, where teams enriched the contacts and ran outreach.
For content-led B2B sales that was a useful idea: someone who comments on a post about your category is warmer than a name from a database.
The catch for staffing firms is that engagement is an indirect signal. Liking a post about hiring is not the same as having three open roles and no one to fill them. That gap is the main thing to fix when you choose what comes next.
Right now
Choosing a replacement
Engagement tells you someone is interested in a topic. For a staffing firm the signal that predicts a deal is narrower and more urgent: a company opened a requisition, raised money to grow, or is a client you have placed with before. Start from those and your outreach has a reason to exist.
A list of employees is not a lead. Look for a tool that identifies the hiring manager or functional head for the specific opening, with an email that has been verified, so you are not guessing between twelve people at the same company.
Trigify users typically piped signals into a second and third tool to enrich and send. Every hand-off is a place where timing slips. If the signal, the contact and the sequence live together, a role posted this morning can be in someone’s inbox this afternoon.
Automating LinkedIn carelessly gets accounts restricted. Whatever replaces Trigify should send from your own account at a measured daily pace and stop when a prospect replies.
The warmest account you can call is one where you have already placed someone. A generic signal tool does not know that. A staffing tool should put past clients back in the market at the top of your list.
Signal by signal
An honest map: StaffingLeads covers the signals that matter for staffing, and does not try to cover social-post listening.
| Signal | Trigify | StaffingLeads |
|---|---|---|
| People engaging with your posts or a competitor’s | Core Trigify signal | Not tracked. StaffingLeads does not do social-post listening. |
| Keyword mentions in posts | Tracked | Not tracked. |
| Job changes | Tracked | Tracked for your own LinkedIn network: a connection lands somewhere new and starts building a team. |
| Funding rounds | Tracked | Tracked: companies that just raised and are about to add headcount, often before the first job is posted. |
| Hiring | One of several signal types | The core signal: career pages, ATS platforms and job boards refreshed hourly and filtered to your niche. |
| Your own placement history | Not a Trigify signal | Tracked: past clients back in the market, and accounts where you already have a warm route in. |
| Who to contact | Signals were sent on to tools like Clay, HubSpot or HeyReach | The decision-maker for the open role is found for you, with a verified email. |
| Outreach | Handled by the tool you connected | Built in: email and LinkedIn sequences from your own accounts, replies in one inbox. |
Side by side
On design intent and capability. We have not published competitor pricing or feature counts, because those change and we would rather not misrepresent them.
| Dimension | Trigify | StaffingLeads |
|---|---|---|
| What it was built around | Social listening: who engages with which posts and topics on LinkedIn and other networks | Staffing business development: which companies need to hire, and who decides |
| Strongest signal | Engagement with content | An open role, a funding round, a past client or a network move |
| Who it fit best | B2B sales and marketing teams running content-led outreach | Staffing agencies, recruiting firms, full-desk and solo recruiters |
| Finding the contact | Enrichment, then hand-off to another tool | The person who owns the open role, with a verified email |
| Sending | Through connected tools (Clay, HubSpot, HeyReach and others) | Email and LinkedIn sequences from your own accounts; review each message or let it run |

About StaffingLeads
StaffingLeads is built for staffing agencies, recruiting firms and recruiters who also carry their own business development. You describe your niche and the clients you want. Your agent then watches four kinds of buying signal and works them for you:
For each opportunity it finds the decision-maker who owns the role, verifies their email, writes outreach that references the reason you are getting in touch, and runs email and LinkedIn sequences from your own accounts. Replies from both channels arrive in one inbox. You can review every message before it goes out, or switch on autopilot.
Plans start at $98 a month (Scout) and $248 a month (Hunter), with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. See pricing and features.
Switching
From firms using it
“We’ve already secured a client, did a placement with them, and have a few others that we’re sorting through.”
“It’s running on autopilot, and I’m just monitoring the responses that are warm. We already have three very viable leads that we’re following up on.”
In practice
A manufacturer posts four maintenance technician roles on Tuesday morning. Two years ago you placed a production supervisor there.
With a social listening tool, that company only shows up if someone there happens to engage with a post you are watching. You would then enrich the contact elsewhere and load them into a separate sequencer.
With StaffingLeads, the four openings are flagged within the hour, the account is marked as a past client, the plant’s operations leader is identified with a verified email, and a first message that mentions the roles and your earlier placement is ready for you to approve, or already sent.

No. According to Trigify’s notice, accounts, data and workflows were not transferred to HubSpot; customer data is retained or deleted under Trigify’s contractual, privacy and legal obligations. Customers were asked to export what they needed before the close.
The Trigify team joined HubSpot, but HubSpot has not said that the standalone product will continue. If you relied on Trigify signals, plan on replacing them rather than waiting.
Not for everything. StaffingLeads does not track who likes or comments on LinkedIn posts, which was central to Trigify. It replaces Trigify for staffing and recruiting business development: hiring, funding, past-client and network signals, the decision-maker for each opening, and the email and LinkedIn outreach, in one place.
